About Monstawrs
They make their homes high in the cliffs, thats where their claws come in handy, to grip the rocks and make homes in the many caverns inside the cliffs.
They are treasure hunters, they love shiney things, they use shiney things like currency. They love digging, mostly looking for treasures.
There are kits, juveniles, and adults
Anatomy
For size comparison, they are around the size of a velociraptor, most have fur, some scales, or both. They all have horns, webbed ears, webbed paws and back paws, and spikes, long claws on front and back paws. Most have a dog nose, some have a dragon nose. Eyes are one solid color with a white sclera.

Rare anatomy are hooves on the back, and 3 rings on the tail. Meep and Maku are the only ones who have the three rings on the tail, no other monstawr unless adopted from a egg will have 3 rings or hooves, unless adopted from a egg.
They do not have wings, tails can be from canine to cat like to dragon styles. Most tail tips are based on one of the four elements.
Spikey mohawk hair, large front canines.
Some have back dew claws some don't.
Socialization
They stay together in their colonies. Based on their element they were hatched from
Communication
They talk using chirps, click, coos and squeaks.
They usually say hello by rubbing foreheads together and make chirping sounds and slightly nose smelling.
If you see a monstawr with its ears moved forward, they are angry! They box eachother like a kangaroo would, their hind ends are very powerfull.
They arnt really afraid off anything. Each colony help each other out.
They mate for life. When one passes, the widowed monstawr will not find another partner but help take care of kits with in the 3 elemental colonies.
Mating
The male will find and present his best found treasure. If the female accepts, the female will rub all over the male and lock tails.
They are egg layer usually 4 eggs a batch, if more than 4 eggs, the rest will be considered a rare monstawr.
The gestation period for the mother is 30 days, once laid the kits will hatch in 2 weeks.
The female cares over the nests, if she needs to eat either her mate will come and sit on the eggs or hunt for her.
FOOD
Monstawrs are omnivores, they eat anything from grains, meat, fruit and vegetables. Their favorite snack are hibiscus flowers. They make sure there are load of them on the island.
